Privacy Policy

This page explains what information the LIVLINK app (the “App”) collects, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the App, you agree to what is described here.

1. Information we collect

• Name you enter in your profile.
• Phone number you enter; it appears in your listings so others can contact you.
• City and neighborhood linked to the listing.
• Listing content: title, details, and listing type (delivery request or delivery offer).
• Location: entirely optional. We only ask for it when you tap “Locate via GPS” while posting a delivery request. You can also type the shop address manually or leave it empty.
• App settings such as dark mode and account type (shop owner or rider), stored on your phone.

2. Why we use this information

• To show your listing to users in your city and neighborhood.
• To let others call you or message you on WhatsApp.
• To let the rider find the shop when its location is provided.
• To protect the App from abuse and manipulation.

3. Who can see your information

The listing you post is public. It is visible to all users of the App: your name or shop name, your phone number, the city, the neighborhood, and the details, as well as the shop location if you provided one. Do not put anything in a listing that you do not want others to see.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Where information is stored

Some information is stored on your phone. When public posting and accounts are enabled, account data and listings are stored with the cloud provider Google Firebase (phone number verification and database), subject to Google’s policies. Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

5. Retention

• Listings are deleted automatically 7 days after posting, and you can delete your listing at any time before that.
• Your account data (name and phone) is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.

6. Your rights

You may at any time:

• view and correct your information from the “My account” page;
• delete your listings from within the App;
• request permanent deletion of your account and all your data by emailing us at the address below;
• withdraw location permission at any time in your phone settings.

We follow the principles of Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

7. Children

The App is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

8. Permissions the App requests

• Location (precise or approximate): only to set the shop location when you ask for it.
• Internet: to display and post listings.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App’s features change. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page, and continuing to use the App means you accept the new version.
